Surgery building improvements March 24

We have got our hard hats out again!

The surgery starting from this weekend (6th March 2024) will be undergoing some refurbishments listed below and unfortunately will cause some disruption. Although our contractors will keep disruption to the minimum by working weekends and overnight there will be some unavoidable delay.

Non-urgent advice: Appointments

There will be no change in appointment times or rescheduled during this time

Why is this happening?

As our building ages (it is 20 years old) some things are looking dated, and are past their lifespan. So we are upgrading them. Last year we spruced the practice up by:

  • Painting all rooms
  • Reconfigured administration space to allow more team members
  • Reconfigured room space
  • Added new CCTV and Alarm systems
  • Swapped out clinical furniture

What improvements are you making?

We will be making the following improvements:

  • New hard flooring to replace the carpets in; the waiting room, administration spaces & kitchen area
  • Refurbishment of all the public toilet areas
  • New kitchen for our fantastic staff members to relax
  • Implementation of a free sterilised water dispenser in the Waiting Room
  • New storage area for all of our essentials
  • Plus other structural upgrades

How will this affect me?

On somedays our car-park will be unavailable or limited. We will do our best to reduce this, however on-street parking is available. We ask that you only park directly outside the surgery if you are disabled. We will inform you if the car park is closed if you have an appointment on that day.

Our toilet facilities might be unavailable in the surgery, however temporary facilities will be available.

Thank you for understanding and we hope you are as excited as we are!

All the best,
